They are going for less than half of that on G/L. Someone is looking for quite a profit. They still have the G/L tags on them!

I've often thought military trailers must exist in part to provide jobs in the places where they're manufactured. The only time we ever used them when I served was on maneuvers, and then mainly to haul the large GP tents that were on our TOE. But as our battalion commander once said to me, "If the balloon goes up, those tents are the first things we'll leave behind." Now, it seems you see these surplus trailers all the time. I expect the military doesn't really wear them out, but that they just keep getting new ones to keep civilians employed someplace.

The secound pic down LT are Canadian M101 trailers ,not sure why the US Goverment would have CDN M1O1 trailers for but they are a much sought after trailer due to how well made they are.
