Working on a Marine Corps A2 late vintage I think. General condition is good but not spotless.
It has the following items
1, Plastic cable clamps
2, ' 82 dated carb
3, Horn wire had to be replaced and it had a 3-81 date
4, Harness was frayed and date on it was also3- 81 .
5, Circuit breaker behind dash was dated 3-82
6, Engine carries a 79 contract date.
With these facts in mind would it be safe to assume it was a late issue MUTT?
Would be interested in seeing whAT YOU GUYS THINK.

Re: A2 age
Fil,
it certainly sounds like a late model. Can you let me know what the fender looks like where the front turn signal attaches. ie... is it a one-piece fender or does it have an "insert"????
