Re: Milton Hancock's M151 Rebuild
Thanks Ken for posting my pictures. Also want to thank Guy Loomis for his pictures and description of the work he did on his mutt. Don't think I could have completed my mutt without his post. Also thanks to Guy and Cameron Mfg for producing the replacement panels. As you can see my mutt was in pretty bad shape, didn't know it had so much rust and bondo on it when I bought it. I put new panels all the way around plus floor panels.
I had hired someone to redo the mutt for me, he kept it 5 months and decided he didn't want to do the job. I brought it home, bought a wire welder and plasma cutter and started to work. Many days I wondered if I would ever get it back together. I painted it outside in front of my shop. It's what a friend of mine calls a 20 footer. It looks pretty good if you are standing 20 foot away. Finally after about 7 months it is now up and running.

Jeep looks great, your body man must not be on the up and up , nothing like the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself, time to buy another one.

Re: Milton Hancock's M151 Rebuild
So does it have the early style E-brake handle? And if it does why did you use it?

Looks good Milton. Glad I could help. Part of what makes the selling of 151 panels fun is talking to the people that save these trucks.

Great work!
Re: Milton Hancock's M151 Rebuild
In answer to Rickf on E brake handle. I don't know if it is a early model or not. Just what was on it when I bought it. Guess I don't know difference.
Re: Milton Hancock's M151 Rebuild
Milton....the early parking brake lever has a push-button in the top of the handler...like most cars. The later parking brake handle is an "over-center" lever....with no push-button. E-mail me if you need pictures.

Re: Milton Hancock's M151 Rebuild
My e brake does not have a button on the top so I guess it makes it a later model.
