Thanks, Hambone! I appreciate the welcome! I have a few projects for which I am collecting parts, and knowledge, before I begin those restorations. I enjoy doing the research, but I have found that researching the MB/GPWs is MUCH easier than the M151s. There seems to be much more info written about the old jeeps than these, unfortunately.

I had dreams of building a GPW, had a couple 6/42 script bodies, f marked windshields and fenders but lost interest, sold them to a guy in Houston. I still have this 1945 Converto Navy contract trailer.
