Sportsman's Guide order arrived today. As per my previous post, they are on sale for about $200 depending on coupon codes, being a member or not, etc.

I really haven't seen these on sale online in the past few years I've been looking at this stuff. The occasional NOS ones with cables are going for $450 obo on eBay. The ad online says used but looks like they are selling brand new units. It arrived in cloth/aluminum type wrapper still sealed and dated 1967-68. Almost felt bad cutting into it. It's older than I am. Inside was a brand new Magnavox, Serial # 798, new antenna sections, new hardware and a bunch of reusable silica bags. Bags still good, who knows? No rust whatsoever. Unfortunately I am unable to test at the moment. Need a new cx-4655 interconnect cable. The one I have has seen better days and I don't want to risk using it. Pics as promised...

Looks like Sportman's Guide is selling them on Ebay as well listing only one left. Direct still appears cheapest route. Better if you find a coupon code to go with.

Haven't seen any on ebay except for the one from KCGonzo for the longest time and now I see new ones popping up with same SG image but with slightly higher pricing and old used ones popping up with just slightly lower prices... Capitalism in action.
Hey Wolf I saw the pic on SG. What all you got stuffed back there? Looks great.

Re: Early Antenna AT-912
I bought one from Sportsman Guide as well. I did a free member trial and coupon to get the price down.
The box I got is SN# 656, the deliveryman was not happy delivering that heavy box hahaha or so he told my wife.
Funny thing is the same day I bought the one from SG I found a used base on ebay and bought it along with finding the bottom antenna section. The base I got off ebay has seen better days and will need repairing as all but 4 bolt holes are stripped out.
Funny how things pop up at the same time.
