M416 part needed
in the manual, this part is called the "bracket, drawbar coupler", part #10924578, figure 16 in section 2. what it is and does, is the small piece that connects the landing leg to the casting which holds the lunette. i have found the casting, and the landing leg, but i am missing the piece that holds them together. does anyone have a spare that they would part with?

that's the right part number, but there's no way i'm dumb enough to pay that price. i do, however, appreciate your effort on my behalf.

Re: M416 part needed
well, the landing leg came from bob in auburn, the bracket from joe in portland, and the casting from frankie back east. i had to fabricate a new bracket lock bar, that holds the landing leg either up or down, but i finished that this morning. everything is installed now. trailer has been stenciled with it's original number, wiring has been replaced front to back, gamma goat lenses in place, 12V bulbs for civilian use. i kept the original, correct, tail light covers, just in case someone wants to revert to them in the future. for now, i'm ready to go. i will probably replace the tires before long, they are pretty checked. maybe i will run across a trailer canvas somewhere, who knows?
