You are missing the heat shield between the muffler and the floor, With that muffler painted black it is going radiate a LOT of heat and that floor is going to be very, very hot.

Correct Rickf! very observant! is one of the things that I still have pending, I am still not sure what insulator to buy, I suppose it will be a silver insulator that has glue on one side. How thick should it be? 1 centimeter? or 0.5 centimeters?

If you are going that route I would go with the recommendation of the manufacturer. Thicker is usually better. The factory one was a rounded metal shield that had a bracket welded to the floor of the vehicle and hung down between the muffler and body. Basically airspace on both sides of a silver shield. Worked great until the shield got rusty and then the dark color transferred heat.

Pedals! There was something weird about them, I decided to disassemble them and there was the broken bushing, I have put a new bushing, cleaning, greasing and mounting.
The brake master cylinder was also replaced because it was in more condition.

Gas can, I know an old one would be better, but I did not want to repair more things ... for now I have had enough with the mutt I was lazy and bought a new one.
A little with the sandpaper and paint according to the car and finished. Transmissions .... Disassembled, clean the inside and change the spreaders for new ones. They get really bad, the spreader socket housings are not oriented correctly and it is difficult to install them correctly.
Some greasers have little space and I can't get the mouth of the greaser in, how do you grease these spreaders? do you have a needle or something?

Horst, I've seen your grease kit, I have the one connected to your grease fitting. On the left side you have a needle shaped one, I guess you mean this one, I need one of those, it's my solution. One more tool on the shopping list. Tools are never in excess.

I found a grease gun fitting that would fit on the grease zerk, (it was smaller od), but I forgot where I got it,(of course it was a long time ago), but I also have the needle type fitting which was easier to put on the grease gun.

Although it is not seen, the front wiring harness is new, and other things are already being seen, new headlights, the glass with the damn rubber! a whole morning between 3 people to put the glass and the new rubber, canvas arch and rear-view mirrors New ax and warning On the other hand I have the reminder of the battery and a new blade, I had to modify it, it was too big and was very separated from the body, now it is as it has to be. To contribute something else ... I have glued a piece of rubber to the handle of the shovel that is resting on the bodywork with contact glue, so with the bumps in the roads it does not sound and does not tear the paint. The rubber I have used is from the air chamber of a tractor. Nothing is seen, if someone is interested I upload an image.
Also here is also the new vinyl, the new seat cushions and the front passenger seat belt. Battery hole ... I have manufactured the supports, the originals were difficult to find and also very expensive for the function they have, I think that's fine.
To hold the batteries I used camping pegs, cut them to size and made the thread. The fire extinguisher ...

I’m using the needle only for the prop shafts , for the drive shafts that thicker adapter I have is more convenient.

El motor... hago un resumen. mi motor estaba gripado y le faltaban piezas. Compré el motor de un 151 A1 y lo combertí a A2, son muy parecidos, hay que cambiar la bomba del combustible, el alternador, carburador, las poleas para que tengan 3 ranuras en vez de 2 ranuras y poco mas.

Añado unas imágenes por no dejar algo tan importante como el motor solo con un enlace.
Primero maxima limpieza para el motor, utilicé un fuerte desengrasante y unos cepillos para el taladro seguimos tapando lo que no hay que pintar y a lo demás le he dado pintura que soporta el calor. Piezas de desgaste... silent block tuberias y manguitos, disco de embrague correas... Tapa de valvula pintada, limpieza a la bomba de combustible, montamos todo y arranque el motor durante un rato antes de meterlo. vi que funcionaba y lo metí en el coche. Metí primero el motor y después la caja de cambio. lo hice así por no preguntar. No lo hagáis es mucho mas difícil y se sufre mucho.

I have searched on the internet where to place this sticker, I have seen it in different places but I cannot know which is the correct place.

I put it somewhere in the engine compartment. But honestly, as I got my 151 directly from the USMC, they did not have the sticker at all. No stickers by the way except one at the ignition switch (being a radio jeep). We put too many stickers on these things because we think it is cool. But it has little to do with reality I guess.

True ... I know that many stickers are reloaded, I think I will only put this one and later a red color that goes on the valve cover. I thought it went on the side of air filter housing,But I looked on my mutts--no sticker.Is it NBC warfare sticker?
