Air Show Burnet, TEXAS
Two weeks ago the club ( Lone Star MVPA chapter ) from Austin attended the Burnet Air Show. This was a wear a mask through the gate, then use common sense. 15 vehicles, 7 trailers, around 25 members. We were setup near the entrance on the main walkway to the flight line. Highlight of my day was when a little guy came up with arms spread wide talking. I couldn’t understand him with all the background noise. I bent down but still couldn’t understand him ( being deaf doesn’t help). His Mom told me he wanted to hug a soldier. Again I bent over and asked him. He threw his little arms around my neck. I stood up with him squeezing. Mom and Dad were working the picture taking phones. Others also. Made my eyes water up.
