Looking to buy a titled and running M151A1 in good condition (I don't mind doing some work to it).
Located in West Texas and willing to drive. Might be wishful thinking, but hoping for around $8500

Welcome to the forum. In that price range you should be able to find something decent. Keep an eye out on the shows and the usual sale places like Facebook marketplace and Craigslist. There is a lot of junk for sale there but sometimes you see real nice deals. Unless you get a lot of pictures, especially ones of the underneath, then you really need to see it in person. More than one deal has fallen through after a very long drive for pickup due to misrepresentation.

There is this one right now in San Antonio but it's slightly higher than your spending #.
