Looking for Stuff
Howdy all!! Hope you are all doing fine !!
I'm looking for stuff for my M151 and M37:
MT-1029 mount
Some big rear-view mirrors with bracketry from an M-35 or ???
AM-2060 power supply
Some H161 or H-104B headsets
Antenna mounts and antennas
Cables for radio power and intercomm
This is crazy as they are like hen's teeth - anyone have a RT524 canvas cover or a cover for an AM-2060 with a PRC-77 hooked to it ????
How about some bullet-proof glass - pieces that could be used on the windshield cover for a gun jeep or gun truck?
Anyone have any pictures or details describing the interior of an M151 gun jeep?
(Lot's of pics from the outside but no good pictures of the inside)
Hoping to get this project completed one of these years!!
Thanks!

Re: Looking for Stuff
I'll work on getting it moved over to the wanted section. Too bad you were not at the Gilbert Pa. show, I have 6-7 1029 mounts cheap! I still have them, but shipping one to Michigan will probably cost more than I am asking for the mount! I also have a full antenna mount for the 151 from corner to extension to sugar scoop.

Re: Looking for Stuff
Sweet! Well, I'm not adverse to a road trip!!
I must say, I've never been to Jersey.
(I'm from Jersey, are you from Jersey??) - sorry couldn't help that...
Let me know what kinda stuff you have and I'll try to come your way before the snow begins to fall!
Thanks!

Re: Looking for Stuff
How about this? Anyone have one of these seats??
Or perhaps know what type of antenna mount this is?

Re: Looking for Stuff
As per previous post by MuttGuru about that antenna type... "The box-base antenna setup was designated as the AT-912, NSN 5820-897-6357 and the appropriate tech manual covering the components was TM11-5820-402-20P"
Have same setup on mine since it would have fit the timeframe for early/straights. They were selling pretty cheap on sportman's guide few years back but never saw them for sale again. 9Should have bought more!) Only see now on ebay from time to time and one or two other radio/surplus websites. I purchased the antenna sections from Fairradio.com

Re: Looking for Stuff
That rear seat looks like something that was fabricated in the field. The M825 seat did not have the fancy armrests and backrest, just a seat cushion and fold up backrest. Is that guy sleeping or dead? I vote for sleeping but with weapons on board, would not want to be in his shoes when woken up by an officer!

Re: Looking for Stuff
The rear seat in the M151 is nothing other than a us government office chair from the mid 1960’s. They cut the legs off, and utilized it as a vehicle seat. I will attach some pictures of the same seat here soon.

Re: Looking for Stuff
Looking back at the original pic it looks like there is another fabbed seat on the rear passenger side facing forward but different design.

So sorry for the Loooong delay - thanks so much for the pictures!! Now that's a cool mod - most likely just stolen out of a building somewhere!!
I'll certainly keep my eyes open for one to "repurpose"...
