Gear Forks

Unread post by Cisco82 » September 3rd, 2023, 10:46 am

Hi guys,

i m looking for gaar lever forks (both) new or used but in good condition.

I had problems with gear shift lately , i solved the problem but i noticed my forks (mainly the fork used for 3rd and 4h gear) are worn out , they still work but i know it is time to change them.

Im from Italy and i was't able to find them around , i really appreciate if someone could help me .

Thanks in advance

francesco

Thanks George , i was aware abot that vendor , i bought few spare parts there during the past years but at the moment there are two problems:

1- As shown in the page in red "We are closed indefinitely"

2 - Foreign buyers need a VAT

It is the reason why i was looking for an alternative solution.

Hello Horst,

i 'm looking for gear shift forks as indicated in the following pics, priority number 1 is the 3°& 4° gear shift fork (it is worn out , the thickness of fork is out of the allowable limit) , the 1°& 2° gear fork is close to thickness limit so i'd like to replace it as well even if it is ok at the moment.

If you have good used parts available i'm interested as long as they are not bent and within wear limit (as following table).

Thanks in advance for your support.

Sincerely

if you take the forks out
look also the return spring inside no 15 make it a bit stronger (longer )
it sits i think with a cotterpin at the gate assy
it is there you must push the stick to reverce and made it easyr to shift 3 and 4 gear

Francesco,

All depends how quickly you need those parts. The transmissions are stored at some distance to where I live and it will take me a few weeks to collect them.

Hello Horst,
I dont need them tomorrow. I m just planning to replace them during the autumn so if you could get them by the end of october it is fine for me.
Let me know if it is feasible considering your commitments.
Thankyou
