in 1969, like some others here, i was spending Christmas in viet nam, far from home. i had been there less than a month. my family sent me this picture, and i have kept it all these years. it's now just me and my squeeze, since our son is 800 miles away. i hope all of you have a pleasant Christmas, with M151 parts under the tree, and children around it. i miss those days. we all know our turn is coming, we just don't know when. Merry Christmas to all of you old vets, and the other members here as well. here's to us and them like us---damn few left, and most of them are dead. well, i tried twice to add the picture, but it didn't post.

Hello folks,
just to wish you all a Great Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
Exactly one year ago to the day, I was released from hospital after 3 weeks and here I am, still breathing (I think).
I've missed you all more than I can say............ my New Year's resolution is to contribute more to this, the best M151 site in the world !

Stay well..............
Ken
Kind regards....

Merry Christmas to all.
Here is to hope the next year is better then this one.
I too am a Viet Nam vet and am watching my band of brothers get smaller in number.
Still enjoy every day tinkering in the garage, although the projects get smaller. I have pulled and replaced the power pack ( with the help of friends) not bad at the age of 73. I have also refreshed my 29th M416 trailer. It has taken me 5 years to turn over that many trailers. pretty good for an old man.
So in leaving, I am looking for a Bob Hope Xmas special from my days in Nam to cheer me up.
Redlight.
