Hey Guys-
Made some good progress these past couple days getting the powerpack into the mutt and doing plenty of cleaning and detailing of parts. My hands smell perpetually of brake cleaner. I think I need to wear gloves more often :D

The product of the end result, is in direct proportion to the amount of time expended.

Please don't ever start that up or drive it out of your garage, it's too perfect :!: :!: :!:

Job well done Matt, your the Restor Man :!:

PS: I was in a freinds Dealership recently and all the machanics were wearing latex surgical gloves while they worked on cars. I asked one of them about it and he said it was a great way to keep your hands clean without loosing any dexterity, that they all use them now. Thinking about trying it myself.

I noticed a major error in your work and one that will probably deduct several points by the judges...

No M151 ever rolled out of the factory looking that good!

I used to bust on guys wearing the gloves, until I tried it. It does keep your hands cleaner not to mention protecting you from some of the nasty chemicals in use out there. Matt, brake fluid is one of those you don't want on your hands! Just curious, what are you using the brake fluid for?

Thanks for the compliments guys! This forum keeps my going... today I'll hit the exhaust and drive shafts. Time to get some benefit out of having that lift in the garage!

Rick-
Not "brake fluid"... I use "brake cleaner". You know to clean parts and such. I still try and keep it off my hands too though.

Having a lift in one's garage, take my word for it, makes installing exhaust sytems and driveshafts a whole lot easier
