we understand that the best American writers have greeted with enthusiasm.
I advise you to read this book on Vietnam.
The best book I ever read on men and war in our time.

Glad you like it. I found it in the 70's and enjoyed it then. It does seem to come and go in popularity.

I understand that the last word in that book's title translates to "Death" but what does the rest of the title mean? I can't read French

It's a big word that means " fu##ing dead."
I find this translation much more significant
For a fu##ing war in a fu##ing country
It has become my favorite book.
