I'm gonna do it folks. I'm looking for. A new project but need to create bay space. I have it I. My local craigslist but I know that the folks on this forum would take care of it.

A1 is cut yes. But the reweld is more than fishplates I also gusseted all the sheet metal. All bodywork is metal while still maintaining the spotweld marks. Rap Forest green with 25ID bumper numbers. Clear Ohio title. Electronic ignition. Gamma goat tail lights. And the radio has a civvy cd am fm inside. Outside of that all is original. Oops K&N air filter mod.

Google Dayton Ohio CL. you will find it.
I'll put pics and more detail.

The only thing that worries me there is his comment about ALL of the bolts on the vehicle being replaced with stainless steel. Stainless steel bolts are great for not rusting but they are very low grade as far as tensile strength. You will not find a grade 8 stainless bolt in your normal supply house. Grade 5 is pushing it. Stainless bolts have a tendency to gall the threads when installing which will give a false torque reading and also give you a broken bolt when you try to remove it. Galled threads and soft metal. I'll bet more than one of you has found that out with exhaust manifold bolts? I replaced mine with grade 5 steel bolts.

Rick. The only stainless hardware installed are on (for lack of a better term) non stressed components. Any actual fasteners that really hold things together (engine parts, bumpers, lift eyes, etc.) are secured using grade 8 hardware. As you can understand, I had a real blast removing 40+year old rusty hardware. BTW all the stainless got a dab of anti seize as well. The CL price is asking, but here on the board I know that I will be offered a fair price. Anyway I am still having a great time driving and enjoying the comments.
